Default Post Taper Check in

Hey there everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I am sitting here in my hotel room in Europe, and as I am away from my family, Im taking today to be quite reflective, and thankful.

A lot has happened since I kicked suboxone, all things that would have been major triggers in the past. My partner and I separated, I sold my first home that I bought, got a huge promotion at work, began to start what I think is a new relationship, and soon... will be moving across the country to the Pacific Northwest.

I have learned the life tools to handle all of these situations appropritately, and from working a strong program, Im happy to say that today I am 191 Days off of suboxone. And I cant tell you how great I feel.

A huge thank you to all of you here, especially Nancy, Time, OhioMike, Cali, and Hairgirl... You have all played a huge part in my recovery, and Im thankful to have you and all the members here!

To those of you struggling... hang in there, and dont give up the fight. Its a long hard battle, but the victory is more than worth it!

I wish you all a safe and Happy Thanksgiving this year, as we and our families all have so much to be thankful for!

Hi Henry!!! Happy Thanksgiving to you too! I was thinking about you the other day, wondering 'where in the world is Henry' and there you are!!

Wow, you sure have been through a lot. I'm sorry to hear about your separation. But I'm glad that you have found someone else.

You are doing fabulously!! What a great inspiration to hear how you've embraced your recovery and learned how to deal with everything that has come at you these past months.

Thank you so much for the inspiration and thank you for being part of our community. You are a true addiction survivor.

I'm so happy you stopped by.
