![]() Hi everyone.
I've been off the medication for a year. Back on, long story, you all know how 'that' goes. Anywho. I moved. Walked to the three local Pharmacys. None have it, only one can order it, earliest thursday. Now, I'm not terribly far from my old pharmacy, but I was wondering if there is a list of pharmacys that stock the drug... ? Kinda like the list of Doctors that prescribe it... Either here or off here. Or if anyone knows any Pharmacy in Jersey City that does have it? I figured after a year has gone by, it would be more widely available. Guess not.... Thank you in advance. |

![]() Guess that list is a beginning; but for my zipcode it only shows one local pharmacy and most here carry it now. I think that they can all order it; but just may chose not to order it for you.

![]() Well, learn something new everyday. Never knew that info was listed here. All this time been driving to the Walgreen's next to my Dr's office, when the store 1 block away had it as well...
josie, looks like from the fine print that each pharmacy has to submit themselves to be listed here, unless I'm reading that wrong. |

![]() Yes, I guess they do; but how would they know unless we tell them?

![]() Hi, that would be great if people told their pharmacies about the locator. We did a mass postcard mailing to pharmacies across the country alerting them to the locator and the pharmacy display. We got a good response, but could always use more.
Thanks! Nancy |

![]() Do the physicians themselves have to keep their info up to date? Just wondering because the doctor that I see has moved to a different location. It would also be nice if you were able to see the cost that the doctor charges for the program. I really wasn't able to shop around all that much for a doctor because I just needed to get in ASAP, but money is definitely a factor because some of these programs are ridiculously expensive. It cost me $790.00 for a UA, 2 10 min evals with the doc, 2 doses and a prescription. So being able to see the cost would definitely be a good thing to list if possible.

![]() Hi Ryan, for our physician locator: http://www.naabt.org/local/
we get the information from SAMHSA, so we have no control over it. The physicians are supposed to update their information with SAMHSA, and when it's updated there, our list is updated. Any website that has a locator gets their info from SAMHSA. http://buprenorphine.samhsa.gov/bwns_locator/index.html Hopefully one day, we'll have one where the physicians can put prices, what insurances they take, etc. But until then, it's all we have. ![]() I just called my usual pharmacy before I dropped off the prescription to make sure they stocked it. I also asked them if they "usually" stock it and if they did run out, how long it would take to come in. Walgreens (also in NJ, southern Jersey though) said they usually receive ordered-in medications next day.
