Question Suboxone

I have been on suboxone for a while now. I see a doctor every month and now. I'm taking 3 a day. Sometime I still get the urge to want to do other drugs. I haven't talked to my doctor about this because I'm thinking that its too early to start a higher dose even tho most times I take an extra one of i get the urge i know I'm not suppose to be taken more then prescribed , but I rather do that then go to something I'm not able to stop doing. Like the pain killers and meth or weed... any advice please help

Hi Stephenps7, welcome. What dose are you taking? 3 of the 8mg films and for how long?

When you get the urge to do other drugs, are those drugs opiates or non opiates? For how long have you been taking Suboxone? Are you engaged in any addiction counseling at all?

Sorry for all of the questions, just want to see if we can better help.
