Default Profit motive wreaking havoc with medically assisted treatment

Suboxone and or methadone treatment has become so expensive, its prompting participants to engage in the same behaviors as when they were using their drug of choice. What will people do to avoid physical wd's from a sudden halt in meds...brought on by the inability to finance the acquisition of continued treatment? Cold turkey off methadone, and to a slightly less degree, suboxone, is a nightmare.

The "for profit" minded are degrading medically assisted treatment. We need subsidies from somewhere.
