Good morning West Coast. Bright blessings to you.

What a fantastic, wonderful...ohhhh....just a beautiful thing you are doing for yourself and to those you love dear. I am over the moon for you that you are enjoying 2 months sober.

I say what you are doing is a good thing for "everything around you", as i have unfortunately had the need to take my 6 kids, 1 at a time aside and apologise for my alcoholic journey. It was only then i realised what it meant to them.

I was never an abusive or violent alcoholic to my children, never raised my hand once, and never threatened to. I "drank" almost un-noticed....or at least that is what i thought. I mean after all.... my alcoholism did not impact on them.

Consequently, when i addressed it with them, individually,..... i was aghast at how unhappy they felt for me.

The girls told me that when they went to bed at night, little girls....9-13....they would talk about me and wonder if i would ever stop.

I never knew.

They used to sneak down in the night to steal shit out of the fridge and often they would find me asleep on my arms on the kitchen table, only to nudge me awake as they ran upstairs.

I never knew.

1 of my girls Tricky, (Victoria) said that when i was "so asleep we couldn't wake you" they used to all hug me.

I never knew.

My boys said that they loved playing sports with me, yet when i had finished my "can" we had to go.

I never knew.

Now.....i know. 1 day at a time i accept responsibility for my actions and also take on board that i have an illness around alcohol. I make sure now each day my sobriety.....makes my ****ing day!

Not only are you choosing an empowering pathway for yourself, those that love you will be so very relieved and so very happy for you.

Dear, dear R Lee and Saint taught me to think through the first drink and keep things simple. You really can not go far wrong if you can do that. It is not as easy as it sounds.

Be peaceful, be healthy and be strong. Loveness to you West Coast

Good morning dear West Coast. Bright blessings to you.

How very proud you should feel with your chosen pathway forward. You seem focused and grateful. Hold onto those 2 things and you will keep growing in the beauty you are, and to recognise and create the beauty around you.

Keep doing what yer doin!

Be peaceful, be healthy and be strong. Loveness to you dear West Coast
