I've called every treatment center I can locate on the Internet. No one seems to be taking patients. Do I need to go out of state?

Hi, welcome to AddictionSurvivors. Unfortunately, there are very few certified doctors in your area, in fact there is only 44 in all of MT. The surrounding states aren't much better, you have to go out to a major city to find a lot of docs. Have you looked into methadone clinics? They can dispense buprenorphine now. University studies are good source if there are trials going on. This link has some details and some other ways to find treatment:
Good luck,

Hello lowlyfin, Good luck in your search. Tim is right, many methadone clinics now offer suboxone treatment also so that might be a place to check into. I am attaching a link with some names-perhaps you have contacted them already, but thought I would attach this in case there are some here you didn't check with. It shouldn't be so hard to find treatment, but it still is.

Another thought is to ask at pharmacies if they fill suboxone prescriptions and ask the name of the doctor who is prescribing it. I was at a pharmacy yesterday and asked that pharmacist and he looked it up and gave me the names of 2 local doctors that I was not aware of. So it never hurts to ask.

Don't give up!
