Exclamation Heads up to folks considering starting Sub

If you have pharmacy coverage thru Cigna and haven't started treatment yet, you may want to start before 10/1/14. Anyone with Sub prescription being filled for the 1st time on or after 10/1, will be subject to prior authorization and/or quantity limits. This is for Suboxone and Zubsolve.

Its not just Cigna, I have United Healthcare Choice Plus and they will not cover Suboxone at all. I have to get prior auth. for Zubsolv which I am hoping my new doctor will not have a problem prescribing.

Humana requires prior authorization for Suboxone. Never understood why they require it for this particular medication.
