Hi jillian713, I'm so sorry that you haven't found anyone yet. I can't believe that the people at Texas Medicaid acted so rudely towards you! That's totally uncalled for. Would they be that way if you were looking for a heart doctor who took Medicaid?? grrrrrrr.

Wow, some friends is right. Any idea why they won't tell you?

I was looking at the Texas Medicaid site and there's this page is in the list of contacts for Texas Health and Human Services:
http://www.hhsc.state.tx.us/about_hh.../contact.shtml

They list calling 211 as a place to call:

"Call 2-1-1:

Dialing 2-1-1 is a free, easy way to find out about services you can get in your area or through state programs.

If you can’t connect to 2-1-1, call us toll-free at 1-877-541-7905. You can also visit the 2-1-1 Texas website to find the phone number to your local
2-1-1 Area Information Center.

You may not be able to connect to 2-1-1 if:

You are calling from outside of Texas.
Your cell phone won’t dial 2-1-1.
You use voice-over-IP (use the Internet to make calls)
"

It's worth a call. Also, maybe a pharmacist might know of someone - they fill the prescriptions, so they may be able to help.

Fingers crossed.

Nancy
